This antique armchair has been completely rebuilt and reimagined by Laura of Cording and Colors, transforming a traditional frame into a bold, one-of-a-kind statement piece.

The original carved wood frame has been refinished in high-gloss black and professionally rebuilt from the inside out, including the springs and support system. Laura combined dramatic black-and-white houndstooth with rich berry-colored velvet and a vibrant botanical print for an unexpected mix of pattern and color.

The reversible back cushion and seat cushions allow you to change the chair's look. Go bold with houndstooth and florals, switch to the solid berry velvet, or mix the fabrics for several different combinations. A coordinating bolster pillow has recently been added to complete the piece.

This isn't simply an antique chair with new fabric. It's a completely rebuilt, functional piece of furniture and a unique work of design.
